By partnering with a coach, teachers and other school staff can strengthen their emotional resiliency, deepen their reflective abilities, and develop their SEL skill sets. Coaching activities include:
Setting goals to address specific SEL concerns
Modeling practices in the classroom
Receiving observation and feedback
Getting ongoing support and encouragement
Customized SEL Curriculum
There is no one way to implement SEL. Every school has different needs. So whether you have five minutes per day or five hours per week to dedicate to it, we’ll work with you to develop an SEL curriculum that works for your students and your staff. This service includes the following:
Taking inventory of what SEL practices are already in place in your school and evaluating their impact
Determining which skills would be most valuable to your student population and providing lesson plans, activities, and resources to foster those skills
Identifying teacher leaders who can model and support the rest of your teaching staff with SEL implementation
Creating benchmarks and assessments for continual evaluation and optimization of the SEL curriculum
